Our Story

Since 2022 Patrickmakespasta has had a mission of bringing handmade, fresh pasta to you; including unique and traditional Italian filled pasta shapes. As a company we strive to find the best possible ingredients to create our products. We rely on the age old cooking traditions of Italy— keeping it simple and only using the best ingredients we can find to achieve an incredible product.

Patrickmakespasta makes everything in small batches from our home base in the Poconos of Pennsylvania. To achieve our amazing quality the ingredients used to make our products are sourced within the tri-state area, and locally here in the Poconos when possible!

Our chef’s name is Patrick O’Meara, and he grew up right here in Pennsylvania. After attending the Culinary Institute of America for college, he spent a decade roaming around NYC learning fine dining cuisine. During his time in New York he worked at an amazing Italian restaurant where he learned the art of fresh pasta making, and the rest was history! In 2017 he started becoming obsessed with all things Italian food, wine, and especially making pasta at home. In 2022 he created the company to share his culmination of pasta knowledge and spread peace, love, and pasta to the world. Patrick says some of his biggest inspirations in the pasta/chef world would have to be Thomas McNaughton, Marc Vetri, and Nicola Mersini.

We want to give our customers chef created and restaurant quality pasta in the comfort of your own home. Most of all, we want to prove that you can make any night Italian night with our amazing pastas and other products!
